In today’s world, it is so easy to compare our lives to the one’s we see on social media. We follow hundreds – maybe thousands, of people who share the BEST of their lives and wonder why we aren’t experiencing the same success. Even when our network profiles are everything you love and admire, it is inevitable that you will feel envious from time to time as people post their body, business or celebrate their life. You see, they have every right to do so. So does that make me bad to feel jealous?
Don’t get me wrong, I could be absolutely thrilled for others’ success but a part of me will always hold a little grudge. Use these feelings to understand yourself and your intentions a bit more.
INTENTIONS. ok we’re about to get serious. Setting intentions and living your life by them allows you to focus and realize who you are. Recognize your values and beliefs. Decide where you are investing your time. Intentions give you purpose, motivation and a road map to living out each day. Intentions have no limits.
The key is to become intentional about everything you want in life. It’s definitely not easy but it will help you live more fulfilled.
I’m NOT perfect nor do I ever think I will be. I’m sure those people I follow on instagram who have amazing figures, cute clothes + make tons of money have struggles too – even if they don’t always show that side. Intentions shouldn’t be goals. They are about who you want to be, what you wish to contribute to the world, and how you want other to perceive you.
I intend to start creating more blog posts like this. Real, raw and motivating. I want to establish a connection with my readers, beyond the pretty make up and shoes (tho I do love that so much). I want to contribute inspiration and ideas to the world, but most importantly to YOU!
What is it that you are craving and wanting? Your intentions will help you get there. It’s up to you to create what you are craving. Get up and do it yourself.
